PSE index ends lower

The Philippine Stock Exchange index closed lower at 7, 367.65, down 14.58 points on Thursday as trading wound down for November.
But in the broader market, there were 112 gainers, 78 decliners and 52 shares unchanged.
Volume reached 1.32 billion shares worth P20.89 billion from Wednesday's 1.15 billion shares valued at P7.22 billion.
Most traded shares were led by Metrobank, down 1.65 percent to P74.80; BDO, up 0.85 percent to P130.20 and Ayala Land, up 3.48 percent to p 41.65.
The peso closed at P52.45 against the US dollar from the previous day's P52.585. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $1.160 billion from Wednesday's $1.05 billion. DMS
