PSE index finishes lower

The main Philippine share market index ended lower on Monday.
The peso finished at P50.975 against the US dollar from P50.891 on Friday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) reached $1.599 billion from $1.3 billion on Friday.
The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) index closed at 7,552.60 points, down 169.98 points. In the broader market, there were 130 losers, 64 gainers and 44 unchanged.
Volume reached 913.66 milllion shares worth P6.37 billion from Friday's 1.22 billion shares valued at P6.27 billion.
Most active shares were led by Ayala Land, down P3.05 to P40.50; SM Prime, down 95 centavos to P39.75 and ICTSI, up 20 centavos to P132.90. DMS
