PSE index flat, Manila Water most active share

Philippine shares ended mostly flat on Friday as the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index gaining 0.69 points to 7,507.20.
The peso closed at P50.755 against the US dollar from P 50.78. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $771.92 million from the previous session's $917.8 million.
In the broader market, there were 105 losers, 71 gainers and 54 unchanged.
Volume reached 2.86 billion shares valued at P5.33 billion from Thursday's 6.22 billion shares worth P7.04 billion.
Manila Water Co. Inc was the most active share despite losing P1.68 to end at P13.28. It drew 44, 257, 900 shares worth P600, 558, 474.
Other actively traded shares were SM Prime, up 40 centavos to P42.35 and Ayala Land, unchanged at P43.35. DMS
