PSE index rebounds from Tuesday’s decline

The key Philippine share index rebounded after a hefty loss on Tuesday.
The peso closed at P52.321 against the US dollar from P52.26 on the previous day. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $1.107 billion from $1.22 billion.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index finished at 7,847.50, up 100.12. In the broader market, there are 118 gainers, 83 losers and 47 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.38 billion shares worth P8.36 billion from Tuesday's 2.59 billion shares valued at P3.47 billion.
Most active shares were led by Now Corp., up 21 centavos to P3.40; Ayala Land, up 50 centavos to P47.75 and ICTSI, down P1.10 to P130. DMS
