PSE trading suspended ” until further notice”

Trading at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) was suspended on Tuesday in connection with President Rodrigo Duterte's announcement placing the entire Luzon under ''enhanced community quarantine.''
This was announced in a memo late Monday by PSE president and chief executive officer Ramon Monzon.
''There will be no trading at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Inc. and no trading and settlement at the Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines starting tomorrow, March 17, 2020 until further notice to ensure the safety of employees and traders in light of the escalating cases of the coronavirus disease,'' said Monzon.
