Recoveries from COVID-19 hit new record of 4,325

Eight hours after the Department of Health (DOH) belatedly reported record highs in deaths and recoveries, the DOH said patients who recovered from the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) reached a new peak.
The DOH said 4,325 new recoveries were recorded, surpassing the last high of 2,009 onJuly 12. Total recoveries are now at 20,371.
New cases reached 836, bringing the total to 57,006.
Deaths were recorded at 65, bringing the total to 1,599. DMS
