Retired police officer arrested for alleged video karera

A retired police officer who allegedly operated video karera was arrested by the Philippine National Police- Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement (IMEG) for bribery.
In a report Friday, the PNP-IMEG identified the suspect as Senior Police Officer 4 Brigido Capio-An, formerly assigned at Criminal Investigation Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District.
Operatives from IMEG arrested Capio-An around 5pm after he tried to bribe one of the team leaders of the group last Thursday inside Camp Crame.
“The suspect offered money amounting to P10, 000 as a bribe to the team leader in exchange for his protection to his illegal doings,” it said.
Recovered from him were the bribe money amounting to P10,000 and his cellular phone.
The suspect is now in the custody of IMEG for investigation and filing of criminal complaint for violating Article 212 of the Revised Penal Code. Ella Dionisio/DMS
