San Juan City , Xavier School to turn science high school building into COVID-19 quarantine facility

The city of San Juan entered into an agreement with Xavier School to convert an unattended building at the San Juan Science High School into a COVID-19 quarantine facility.
San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora said Thursday the site is expected to ease their congested medical facilities.
Xavier School will help procure equipment needed in the planned quarantine facility.
“Thank you very much to the entire Xavier School community for thesupport that you will be giving,” Zamora said.
The San Juan Science High School is located in Pinaglabanan.
This came as three more people have died in San Juan City, bringing the death toll to eight.
Zamora appealed to residents to stay at their homes to
prevent COVID-19 from spreading.
“We all all want to win this battle vs COVID-19 and we will if we all do that it takes, stay home and keep safe,” he said in a statement.
Residents found positive for COVID-19 rose to 57 from 48 on Wednesday, Barangays with the most number of patients are Greenhills with 18 and West Crame with 12.
Meanwhile, 102 residents are listed as persons under investigation (PUIs) or those with symptoms while 222 are persons under monitoring (PUMs). DMS
