SC justice tells bar examinees to study instead of seeking postponement
March 18, 2020
Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen has urged examinees for November's bar examinations to focus on their studies, instead of asking for postponement.
Leonen, chairman of the 2020 Committee on Bar Examinations, said while many of the activities and schedules have been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, bar applicants should not be distracted.
“Whether the Bar will be postponed is not yet a relevant question. Study instead,” Leonen said,in his Twitter account.
“To all aspiring lawyers: do not start with the habit of asking for postponements. Live with the reality that there are deadlines for you to keep for those who will trust you to deliver. Learn to deal with difficult challenges along the way,” he added. DMS
