Show cause orders given to driver, bus manager after Makati mishap

Transport agencies issued show cause orders to a company whose bus rammed motorcycles along Antonio Arnaiz Avenue in Barangay Pio del Pilar in Makati, injuring 11 on Friday.
The bus allegedly went out of control on reaching the intersection at 9 am.
The Land Transportation Office and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board issued separate show cause orders to Marlon Nacaytona, driver and the manager of PBT Pitbull Bus Transport Corp.
The driver was tested positive for illegal drugs in the initial screening test and is detained at the Makati Central Police Station.
Nacaytona and the manager of PBT Pitbull Bus Transport Corp. were ordered by the LTO to appear on Sept 9 at 3 pm.
The LFTRB orderedthe manager of PBT Pitbull to appear also at 9 am on the same to explain its certificate of public conveyance should not be suspended or cancelled.
