Son of MILF commander wounded in Maguindanao shooting incident

The son of a Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) commander was wounded in a shooting incident in Maguindanao on Monday.
Major. Arvin Encinas, spokesman of the 6th Infantry Division, said the victim was Nasrudin Upam, son of the brigade commander of 118th MILF Base Command Rakman Upam and a right hand of mayoralty candidate Zaharra Ampatuan.
Encinas said the victim was standing at the fruit stand of Shariff Aguak Market when he was shot by a still unidentified perpetrator around 1:35 am.
He said Upam sustained a gunshot wound in his right arm.
Encinas said the victim was brought to the Integrated Provincial Health Office – Maguindanao Provincial Hospital for treatment. Robina Asido/DMS
