Stocks decline, peso ends at P51.91:$1

Philippine stocks declined on Wednesday, with the key index losing more than one percent.
But the peso closed at P51.91 against the US dollar from P52.025 on Tuesday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines closed at $1.147 billion from $909.11 million on the previous day.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index finished at 7,899.12 points, down 99.04 points. In the broader market, there were 123 decliners, 69 gainers while 63 shares were unchanged.
Volume reached 1.9 billion shares worth P7.43 billion from Tuesday's 1.15 billion shares valued at P10.93 billion.
Most active shares were led by BDO, up 1.91 percent to P133.50; ICTSI, down 0.25 percent to P119.50 and Jollibee, down 2.22 percent to P308. DMS
