Stocks end flat, peso declines

Philippine stocks ended flat on Monday, the first trading day after a two-day Holy Week break.
The peso closed at P51.765 against the US dollar from Wednesday's P51.64. Volume reached $810.45 million from the previous session's $581 million.
The Philippine Stock Exchange closed at 7,832.43 points, down 2.72 points. In the broader market, there were 101 decliners, 74 gainers and 54 shares were unchanged.
Volume reached 531.48 million shares valued at P6.68 billion from Wednesday's 694,4 million shares worth P5.45 billion.
Most traded shares were led by Ayala Land, unchanged at P47; Jollibee, down 0.33 percent to P303 and GT Capital, up 0.64 percent to P856.50. DMS
