Stocks end lower

Philippine stocks ended lower on Tuesday as the markets remained open a day after a strong earthquake affected Metro Manila.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index closed at 7,818.93 points, down 13.50 points. In the broader market, there were 120 decliners, 72 gainers while 43 shares were unchanged.
Volume reached 569.73 million shares worth P6.6 billion from Monday's 531.48 million shares valued P6.68 billion.Most active shares were led by Ayala Land, unchanged at P47; Ayala Corp., down 1.93 percent to P865 and ICTSI, down 1.39 percent to P127.50. DMS
