Stocks mixed, peso declines vs US dollar

Stocks finished mixed while the peso declined against the US dollar on Friday.
The peso ended at P51.04 from Thursday's P50,97. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $1.094 billion
The Philippine Stock Exchange index settled at 8,270.07 points, up 12.02. But in the broader market, there were 102 losers, 94 gainers and 53 unchanged.
Volume reached 1.46 billion shares worth P6,74 billion from Thursday's 975.57 million shares valued at P5.6 billion.
Most active shares were led by Ayala Corp., up P2.00 to P950; Ayala Land, down 35 centavos to P52; BPI, up P1.00 to P93 and Wilcon Depot, down 56 centavos to P15.14. DMS
