Thai woman arrested for allegedly carrying P28 million worth of illegal drugs at NAIA 3

Operatives from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) confiscated alleged P28 million worth of illegal drugs from a female Thai suspect at NAIA Terminal 3 early Monday morning.
PDEA Regional Office-NCR Director III Joel Plaza said arrested was Pakjira Janwong, 27, of Thailand.
Plaza said around 4.125 kilograms of suspected shabu with estimated standard drug price of P28, 050,000 were hidden in the compartment of her luggage.
Janwong was arrested upon her arrival at the NAIA Terminal 3 around 1:40 am.
"The substance later tested positive for methamphetamine hydrochloride thru a field test,” Plaza said.
Seized evidence are submitted to the PDEA Laboratory Service for qualitative and quantitative examination.
