Three alleged carnappers killed in Batangas

Three alleged carnappers were killed in an encounter with police officers in Malvar, Batangas last Saturday.
A report from the Batangas Police Provincial Office said a hot pursuit operation was conducted by the Malvar Municipal Police Station and Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Batangas around 1:55 am at Brgy. Poblacion after the incident happened between 1:30 to 1:50 am in Brgy. Luta Norte.
Police Captain Kermin Amor Cabrales, public information chief of the Batangas police, said the victim named Maynard Garcia reported the incident.
“As a result, hot pursuit succeeded and resulted in an armed encounter and neutralization of the three suspects,” it said.
Suspects were identified as a certain Mario Molino Molino, ‘alyas’ Tito and another ‘alyas’ Jr.
Authorities recovered three guns, two motorcycles, five pieces M16 rifle shells, four pieces caliber .9mm pistol and a shell of caliber .45 gun. Ella Dionisio/DMS
