Three Chinese arrested for alleged kidnapping in Pasay

Three Chinese nationals were arrested for alleged kidnapping in Pasay City on Monday night.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the arrested Chinese suspects as Li Gen, 32, He Xiang, 29, and Wang Jun, 29.
The three were arrested at the Toll Plaza Skyway, westbound lane, in front of NAIA Terminal 3, Villamor Airbase, Pasay City around 8:15 pm.
Based on initial report ,the three were arrested after the police officers on duty in the area flagged down the suspects after they spotted Wang Jun who was not wearing his seat belt while driving.
"As they (police officers) flagged down the car, they noticed the two Chinese national (Li Gen and HeXiang) beating up the complainant inside the car," the report said.
"This prompted them (police officer) to check," it added.
The three suspects were arrested after the complainant identified as Zhou Zheng Qiang, 26, also a Chinese national managed to get out from the car and inform the police officer he was abducted by the suspects.
According to SPD, the case of alleged kidnapping against the suspects are still under investigation. Robina Asido/DMS
