Three soldiers, two bombers killed in attack on military camp in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY - Two alleged suicide bombers and three soldiers were killed while nine were wounded in an attack at a military camp in Sulu, police said Friday.
The Sulu Police Provincial Office said this happened around 12 noon at the headquarters of the Army’s 1st Brigade Combat Team in Sitio Tanjung, Barangay Kajatian, Indanan town.
Police did not say if the alleged suicide bombers were members of the Abu Sayyaf.
Police said the two suicide bombers followed one another into the tactical command post of the the 1st Brigade Combat Team and detonated their bombs.
Camp sentinels tried to stop the suicide bombers, one of whom detonated the bomb near the parking area of the 1st Brigade Combat Team.
Police said a firefight, which lasted for about an hour, ensued.
The identities of the slain suicide bombers and soldiers along with the nine wounded were not available. DMS
