Two apprehended at checkpoint in Sultan Kudarat

Two suspects were apprehended at a checkpoint in Sultan Kudarat on Monday morning.
Major Arvin Encinas, spokesman of the 6th Infantry Division, said the suspects were Alinsulorin Edwin Panalingan, 48, and Ronny Mar Magtulis, 23, both residents of Purok Paghidaet, Brgy. Paitan, Esperanza.
He said the troops of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion were conducting a checkpoint when they apprehended the suspects in front of Paitan Detachment in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat around 8 am.
Encinas said the suspects were riding a motorcycle when they were apprehended by troops for carrying a hand grenade.
Encinas said the suspects were turned over by troops to the Esperanza Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. Robina Asido/DMS
