Two arrested for carrying eight kilos of marijuana leaves in Benguet

Police arrested two men and seized eight kilos of dried marijuana leaves worth P96,000 in Benguet.
Officers from Banaue Municipal Police Station and members of the 1504th Coy, Regional Maneuver Force Battallion-15 on Monday afternoon nabbed two suspects for allegedly transporting illegal drugs in a checkpoint at Sitio Mt. Polis.
Police said arrested were Dave Archer Canlas Tiozon and Xeus Marquez dela Cruz, both residents of Quezon City.
Police said the two suspects were onboard a bus bound for Cubao, Quezon City when cops discovered marijuana leaves in their possession. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
