Two were killed and one was wounded as a man went on a shooting rampage in San Juan City Tuesday evening, police said.
Police Col. Ariel Fulo, San Juan chief, said dead were Ma. Theresa Antiquera and Catalino Banez of Barangay Little Baguio.
Wounded was Rhea Antonio, a 33-year-old nurse, who is recovering in a hospital.
The suspect is Banez' 59-year-old brother, Roberto, who was arrested following an exchange of gunfire with policemen.
Fulo said the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect, armed with three firearms, barged inside his brother's house along Barasoain street and shot his brother and two others.
“We still have no information what triggered the suspect to be violent,” Fulo said in a text message.
The suspect is facing charges of multiple murder, frustrated murder and illegal possession of firearms. DMS
