Two persons arrested for punching traffic enforcer

Authorities arrested two persons for punching a traffic enforcer in Valenzuela City last Sunday.
A report from the Northern Police District said around 6:10 pm along MacArthur Highway in Malanday, Valenzuela City two drunken suspects punched traffic enforcer Leonardo Lim for letting go a certain driver they were arguing with.
Suspects were identified as Earvin Ray Mariano, 23, and Michael Earl Guevarra, 27.
The two suspects were arguing with a male driver onboard his vehicle in front of Nestor.
The traffic enforcer tried to pacify both parties, but the man driving a white vehicle immediately left.
The two suspects approached Lim and asked why he let the man to go. As Lim was explaining, the suspects suddenly punched him several times, hitting his ears.
A witness tried to restrain the suspects and sought assistance from Police Community Precinct-6, which resulted to the arrest of the suspects.
Guevarra and Mariano are under police custody and cases of physical injury and direct assault on Lim will be filed against them before the Valenzuela City Prosecutor‘s Office. Ella Dionisio/DMS
