Two relatives of Negros vice mayor killed in ambush

Two relatives of an incumbent vice mayor in Negros Occidental were killed in an ambush by around 30 unidentified suspects Thursday morning.
An initial report from Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office said around the ambush took place around 11 am while Vice Mayor Ella Garcia-Yulo was campaigning at Sitio Dresden, Barangay Inolingan in Moises Padilla.
Authorities identified the victims as Mark Garcia and candidate for Sangguniang Bayan, Michael Garcia.
The report said while victims were conducting campaigns with Garcia-Yulo, around 30 suspects ambushed their vehicle which resulted in the death of the two victims. Yulo was unhurt.
