Two reported dead in Pampanga from quake: Pineda

Two died and one injured after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake jolted parts of Luzon Monday afternoon.
Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda told dzBB that as of 6 pm, there were two confirmed casualties in the municipality of Porac.
"An old lady and her grandchild died. Some parts of the old lady's head scattered because they were pinned down by a wall that fell (during the earthquake," Pineda said.
She added there were reports of people being trapped in a four-storey building. Other casualty reports in Pampanga are being verified, Pineda explained.
The earthquake, which lasted 10 to 12 seconds, caused damage in Pampanga.
The Department of Transportation said an official advisory closing Clark Airport for 24 hours to assess extent of damage will be issued.
Meanwhile, an initial report from the Manila Police District said one was reported injured along Ongpin due to broken glass. The victim was brought to Perpetual Hospital. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
