Two residents in areas affected by Taal eruption die from cardiac arrest

Two residents in the area affected by Taal Volcano's activity died due from cardiac arrest.
Brig. Gen. Marceliano Teofilo, Taal Task Group Commander said Thursday the "post erruption casualties" were identified as Anatalia Perez Dionisio and Danilo Toledo.
Teofilo said Dionisio died during evacuation in the municipality of Talisay on Jan. 13, while Toledo passed away in Taal the following day.
Teofilo said Task Group Taal recorded a total of 18,646 families or 82,068 individuals displaced from the province of Batangas and Cavite.
These affected population are in 204 evacuation centers in Calabarzon.
"All roads and bridges are now passable except Tagaytay- Taal lake road and Tagaytay-Talisay road is still temporarily closed," Teofilo said in a report issued on Wednesday night.
"Six municipalities namely Talisay, Laurel, Lemery, San Nicholas, Agoncillo, Mataas na Kahoy and some barangay of municipality of Balete and Malvar have declared madatory evacuation of their residents," he added.
On Thursday, the Philippine Coast Guard deployed additional 100 personnel to assist in the ongoing relief operations in Batangas.
The additional PCG personnel will also transport relief items donated by the China Coast Guard (CCG) via BRP Tubbataha. Robina Asido/DMS
