San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora on Friday ordered authorities to '' immediately disinfect, sanitize and close to the public temporarily''a prayer room at Greenhills frequently visited by a man who tested positive for the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19).
The man, said Zamora, ''lives in a municipality near Metro Manila.''
''The Department of Health and the City Government of San Juan are now conducting contract tracing to determine whom this patient has been in contact with since he displayed symptoms of Coronavirus during the last week of February,'' said Zamora.
Zamora urged residents of San Juan '' to stay calm, practice proper hand washing using soap and water or alcohol, and execute proper cough etiquette. Finally, avoid going to crowded places keeping at least one-meter distance from other people.'' DMS
