Filipinos trust Japan next to US: SWS survey
May 6, 2019
Filipinos trust Japan next to the United States among four countries selected for a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations.
The polling firm has conducted this type of survey since 1994 to find out the extent of trust Filipinos have on the US, Japan, Australia, and China.
The March 28-31 survey shows a very good +60 net trust rating for the United States. Japan was a distant second with good net trust ratings of +34. Australia was just a point away from Japan with +33, while China had a neutral -6 trust rating.
The SWS said the March 2019 net trust ratings stayed within the same grade for all four countries registered in the Dec. 2018 poll.
