Philippines Set Record Medal Haul In 2019 SEA Games; Yulo Among Most Bemedalled Athletes

Japan-trained and 2020 Tokyo Olympics hopeful Carlos Yulo was among the most bemedalled Filipino athletes who won a record medal haul in the 30th Southeast Asian Games held in various cities in the country.
The Philippines set a new record medal haul to win the overall championship of the Games. Vietnam, host of the 2021 Games, was second while Thailand took third place.
