World Bank hopeful 22 million Filipinos can be lifted out of poverty

The World Bank releases its latest report on the poverty situation in the Philippines: Making Growth Work for the Poor. While it noted that more families have been lifted out of poverty, as of 2015, one fifth of the population (22 million) still live below the poverty line.
